Direct Hair Implantation is the most advanced hair implant technique. Unlike others, it doesn’t require pre-made incisions or channels. Follicles are implanted directly using a Choi Implanter Pen, which allows for:

After a direct hair implant, following medical care is essential for healing, follicle integration, and optimal results:

General care:

• Don’t touch, rub, or scratch the implanted area.

• Avoid direct pressure on the grafts for 3–4 days.

• Use only doctor-recommended products to wash your scalp.

• Avoid creams, tonics, or shampoos not prescribed.

Crust care:

• Crusts will begin to fall off between days 7 and 12.

• Don’t pick or scratch them manually.

• A specific washing routine will be provided.

Wearing hats/helmets:

• Loose-fitting caps can be worn after day 5, if not in contact with grafts.

• Avoid motorcycle or bicycle helmets for 3–4 weeks due to friction.

Exercise:

• Avoid intense physical activity or heavy sweating for at least 7 days.

• Light walking is okay after 5 days, as long as there's no heavy sweating.

Pool, sauna, steam room:

• Avoid all for 30 days due to infection risk and exposure to moisture/chlorine.

Sun exposure:

• Avoid direct sunlight on the graft area for the first 2 months.

• Wear a loose-fitting hat that doesn’t touch the grafts.

We recommend staying 6–7 days after the transplant. This allows us to:

• Perform post-op checkups on day 2 or 3

• Monitor graft healing

• Guide you on crust care and washing

• Ensure a safe and confident return home

🩺 Immediate post-op follow-up (first days):
Before returning home, you’ll receive at least one clinical evaluation. We’ll check the implant area, remove crusts if needed, and provide detailed care instructions.

🌐 Personalized virtual follow-up:
Once home, we monitor your progress virtually. You’ll send follow-up photos at set intervals (15 days, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months), and our medical team will assess your progress. If concerns arise, we’ll provide immediate professional support.

📆 6- and 12-month evaluations:

• At 6 months: We’ll request updated photos to evaluate early growth and density.
