How is the treatment performed at Capilo Skin?
Before performing Sculptra® we carry out a personalized medical assessment , evaluating facial or body anatomy, skin quality, degree of sagging, loss of support and the patient’s goals.
After defining the treatment areas, the product is prepared according to the corresponding technical recommendations and applied using injection techniques in specific anatomical planes. Depending on the area, a microcannula or needle may be used , aiming for proper and uniform distribution of the product.
The procedure is outpatient. After application, temporary swelling, tenderness, redness, or small bruises may appear, which generally subside gradually.
When are the results visible?
Sculptra® is characterized by offering a progressive transformation , not an immediate definitive result.
During the first few weeks, the biostimulation process and formation of new collagen begin. The improvement in firmness, support, and skin quality becomes progressively more evident in the months following the treatment.

How many sessions do I need?
Sculptra® is not performed under the same protocol for all patients. The number of sessions and vials required is determined according to age, skin quality, degree of sagging, area to be treated, and individual goals.
In some patients a shorter initial protocol may be sufficient, while others require several sessions to reach the desired level of biostimulation.
Subsequent maintenance sessions may be recommended depending on clinical progress.
